Hi All,
We’ll be heading north for a ride with several intermediate-length climbs. Nothing quite as many punches as an Egan group ride, but the climbs will be longer, with a few steep sections to keep things interesting!
We’ll make our way out to Cañada and then head up Jefferson. Let’s try to stay together on the way down, as there are quite a few turns (please download the route). From there, we’ll make our way toward Palomar and climb up through the wooden gate. We’ll then continue to Crestview Park for our first regroup. Please don’t miss it! Next, we’ll head to Ralston and then over to Woodridge. This will be our last longer climb of the day, and it starts with a very steep section, so save a little energy for it! Afterward, we’ll work our way back to Cañada and have our final major regroup at the Water Temple.
The weather looks like it could be hot, so please bring extra water, I’d recommend doubling up.
Looking forward to a great ride. See you all out there!

Non - Members:
Alto Velo welcomes non-members to join us on our rides. However, non-members must have a Waiver on file with the club.
The AV C Ride offers a more moderate workout than the other Alto Velo rides (although a workout it is). Group riding skills & communication in a supportive controlled peloton are emphasized. When not on designated climbs, we aim to keep the group together.
