Meet at the Carmel Ski Club Lodge at 11815 Deerfield Drive in Truckee. Ride will start at 10:00 but come early and I will have coffee brewing. We will follow Highway 267 past Northstar to Lake Tahoe. Turning right we will ride along the lake to Tahoe City before turning back to Truckee along Highway 89. We will stop at Palisades for lunch halfway back to Truckee. About half the ride is on bike path with the rest on good roadways with good shoulders.

Rooms are available at the lodge for $30 per night per person including a small chore (taking out the garbage, etc.). Shared men’s bathroom and women’s bathroom. Alternately, The Inn at Truckee is a few blocks away. We will meet at the lodge for cocktails in the evening to talk about the following day’s route and will host a meal or two at the lodge.
