This ride will start at El Cerrito Plaza BART. We will warm up riding the bike path 3 miles to the Alvarado Park entrance to Wildcat Canyon. This will be a no drop ride good for riders new to gravel riding or just want to ride at a more chill pace. It is recommended to have 32mm or bigger tires. Bring warm layers and bright lights to see by on the way home. The majority of the dirt sections will be fire roads and we will have regular regroups. We will skip Quarry Trail and Redwood Trail, opting for the descent down Curran Trail and Wildcat Gorge Trail, then climb up Canon Dr. and return to the normal route through Kensington and back to EC BART.
