Hey RWC group ride fans. For the last ride of our Keep Rolling Sundays loyalty program for this season (see our ride group post), join me, Brian, this Sunday (9/6), for a tour thru the beautiful neighborhoods of Redwood City, Woodside and Portola Valley. There will be a moderate climb up Highland/Jefferson and an option to climb the amazingly beautiful Alpine. We will return by descending Alpine, then a relaxing ride along Alameda. We will be rolling for about 32 miles and 1900 feet of climbing or 25 miles and 1200 feet for those who decide to skip the Alpine climb. There will be stops at Jefferson/Cañada (to regroup), Woodside Store (for water), Roberts Market at Alpine (for water), and the Top of Alpine at the Gate (to capture that awesome feeling of accomplishment) As always with my rides, we can modify or change the route depending on group input. As a treat, we will provide Cliff Bloks energy chews to help you along the way. Weather looks to be in the 60’s, climbing to about 70 at the finish, perfect. Meet at 9am, ride at 9:30.
