These last couple months, we have done several rides around the Bay - Pacifica to Sausalito across the Golden Gate, a memorial crossing of the Bay Bridge East Span, and multiple rides crossing the Dumbarton.  It's time to add the last part, with a loop from the Presidio to San Rafael and across to Richmond, then down the East Bay.

This ride follows very closely to the route of The Bay Ride, a fundraising event staged one day before, but bails out at Mile 55 (of 135) - after that route veers eastward in San Leandro. From there, we take BART to San Francisco, and ride from the Embarcadero back to the start. Lunch stop at the Public Market Emeryville. The ride is 63 miles, with a 42-mile option - if taking BART from West Oakland.

Meet at the Presidio Parking Lot on the Main Parade Lawn (Anza Avenue at Owen Street, SF) at 10:00am for a 10:15am departure. A parking charge applies. Rain, temp>90, or AQI>100 cancels.
