We're trying something new for the group! As daylight shortens, so must our rides. We'll follow our regular Kennedy/Hicks route until we reach Hicks Road. From there, we'll turn off on Reynolds Road for a short out-and-back segment (to the end of the pavement and back).

We will meet at 5:45 PM at the front of the store for debrief and to sign a waiver / emergency contact info. (Rain cancels ride). Wheels roll at 6 PM sharp, so come prepared or come early to air up and gear up!

Route:
Kennedy/Hicks/Reynolds - 23.5 miles, ~1600' climbing - main climbs are Kennedy Rd and Reynolds Rd out and back. This can be shortened due to the pace of the group and daylight if it becomes an issue. There are waiting spots for those who don't want to make the last climb. We will have numerous regroups during the ride.

Roberts Road + Fisher Avenue (in front of Fisher Middle School)
Top of the Hill Road + Kennedy Road (Sierra Azul Kennedy Trail trailhead)
Coleman Road + Camden Avenue (parking lot of Montevideo Improvement Association)

Ride Groups
This week, we will ride all together as one group.
14-18 mph average pace

What to bring: Mandatory for joining our ride is a helmet and bike lights, front and rear. Ideally, also bring water bottles, snacks or gels, some cash, a cell phone, a pump, a patch kit, and an extra tube.

Don't bring: Listening devices that impair your ability to hear, including earbuds or speakers. This is a group ride, and we want to ensure communication to keep things both safe and social.

Note: It's recommended that riders joining the group ride can comfortably ride an average pace of 15 mph with climbs. Road bikes are highly recommended due to the pace of the group. Riders with hybrid bikes and mountain bikes will have a tough time keeping pace. Riders under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

All participants are required to sign our event waiver prior to joining the ride.
