The aim is some social riding on a day predicted to be on the hot side of warm.  So let's go see if Stevens Canyon can live up to its reputation as the 'ICE BOX".

With an early(ish) start this relatively short ride front loads most of the climbing; after working our way to the top of Mora (great views if it isn't too hazy) we will wend our way over to Stevens Creek Reservoir and then up the canyon.  Fun fact: the climb to the gate actually takes us higher than going up Mt. Eden.  From the end of the canyon it's pretty much all downhill back Foothill to the start.

Several water stops are planned, but no lunch stop, so bring snacks.  Optionally interested parties could stop at the Red Pepper or go the extra mile to Los Altos.

Rain (hah!), AQI>100 or predicted temperatures into the high nineties will cancel. Hopefully it will still be in the 80's when we get back.
