49 mi, 3 LM, 2712 ft; Cienega

Rolling at 9:30 AM. This is a simple out and back. Last year we did this ride and enjoyed the Cienega goat twice which included the backside. I’m proposing to do this again starting from Tres Pinos. It’s a beautiful road and the weather will be mild to warm. We will start at the Catholic church in Tres Pinos. We will ride to Cienega Rd and climb to De Rose Winery. Then continue down the back side and pay a visit to the Jon Kaplan ghost bike. Then we’ll return on the same route. This gives us 2x Billy GOAT credit for Cienega. Bring your snacks and lots of water. There are facilities at the top at De Rose winery where we can relax a bit, before descending and making our way back to tres Pinos.
