The forecast is for cooler weather, but a bit windy, so we will avoid the coast. This figure-of-eight route to Petaluma uses many of the roads we used to ride before we settled on Spring Hill. Let's see what the roads and surroundings look like now. We'll stop briefly at Stafford Lake (water, restrooms) and have lunch at Ray's in Petaluma.

There is sometimes a faster (more like M pace) group on this ride, but we all come back together at frequent regroups and lunch. Just tell the leader first.
