RIDE DETAILS
Ride Name : Nicasio, Tomales, Marshall, Point Reyes Station
Description: Ride past Nicasio Reservoir, then through the rolling hills of Marin out to our first rest stop in Tomales (mile 28). Regroup in Tomales in front of Route One Bakery and Kitchen, then head a short distance west on Dillon Beach Road to public restrooms entering Tomales Community Park from Valley Street. Return to Highway one, ride south along Tomales Bay to our next regroup at the Marshall Store (mile 35). Continuing south along Tomales Bay we make our way to Toby's Coffee Bar in Point Reyes Station (mile 45). There are public restrooms one block from Toby's at the corner of Toby & Mesa roads. Departing Point Reyes Station, we will turn right on Pt. Reyes Petaluma Road and return to Nicasio.
Bring enough water for the 28 mile ride from Nicasio to Tomales. Stores in Tomales may have long queues, bring a sandwich for a more relaxing rest stop at Tomales Community Park.
Check ride status updates before leaving home ... very heavy cloud cover or high winds may require rescheduling.
