Let's do one of Don's HRU favorites that's also a favorite of mine.  West Alpine can be a hot box in the summer, so I like to head there we get a cool day with a little overcast, and this Wednesday looks pretty ideal.

Assemble at the Shoup for a 9AM departure.

52 miles, with 5500+ feet of climbing.

Lunch at the duck pond at the top of Alpine, which has water, but no food, so BYO.
