Feel like climbing a lot with no cars around?

If so, join Fredo Cirne (408 931 4133) at 8:30 for an 8:45 departure on Friday July 3rd at Burgess Park in Menlo Park, at the corner of Alma and Burgess.  We are going to pedal the Alpine Old Haul loop.  This is a gravel ride that climbs Dirty Alpine, goes down West Alpine and returns back via Old Haul Rd.  Lunch is at theTreehouse, in Stanford, towards the end of the ride.

This is a beautiful ride with minimal traffic on the climbs.  It does contain gravel sections though.  Dirty Alpine is nice even for road bikes, but Old Haul Rd is really better on a gravel bike.  YMMV, of course.  If you are comfortable doing it on skinny tires: all the power to you, join us!!
