Meet in the west church parking lot, corner of E. Hamilton Ave on Leigh Ave, San Jose. We will ride up the San Tomas Aquino Creek trail (bypassing Levi's due to a World Cup match), do a loop on the levees and return via the Gaudalupe River Trail. About 9 miles of this ride are on hard-packed dirt but easily ridden on standard road bikes. Shorebird sightings, salt pond views and the ghost town of Drawbridge are typically impressive.
