Hey RWC group ride fans. As part of our Keep Rolling Sundays loyalty program (see our ride group post), join me, Brian, this Sunday (6/21), on a beautiful ride thru Redwood City, a climb up Alpine (all the way to the gate), then a cruise thru Portola Valley and Woodside. The climb up Alpine is optional, riders can skip the climb and meet at Willowbrook Dr and Alpine. There will be stops at the bottom of Alpine, Roberts Market on Alpine (water, rest), the gate at the top of Alpine road (because we will be feeling amazing), Willowbrook/Alpine, the Woodside Store (water), and Jefferson/Farm Hill. The full ride will be about 31 miles and 1900 feet of climbing or about 25 and 1200 without the Alpine climb. This Alpine climb brings out all the smiles, as it is one of the most beautiful in the bay area. Imagine pedaling under overhanging trees with the sound, smell, and sight of an adjacent spring river. Wow. As always with my rides, we can modify or change the route depending on group input. Cliff Bloks energy chews will be provided at the start to help you along the way.
