Ride Information for 6/18/26

B+C/0.8/29.9 Thaco Thursday Tour

As with all TTT rides, we'll START from Silicon Valley Bike Exchange, @ 9:45 for a 10am roll out.

SVBEx is located at 3961 East Bayshore Rd in the rear parking lot. (water & restroom avail)

The location is just north of San Antonio Rd on the east side of Hwy 101.  There is construction nearby, but the Corporation Way Entrance is open.

The Theme for all of this years TTT series is "Enjoy The Vista" and this month's route title is: "Hidden Passages!" (aka Seeing Something New, for the first time!)

This TTT route is just under 30 miles and has a mellow 603 ft of gain and travels to a unique local feature I would bet has never been seen or utilized by anyone in the WW or SVBEx!

Heads Up! There is a short (<.2 mi) trail section we will walk, so be prepared for that, with mountain bike or touring shoes)

This month's route also has a NEW Ingredient with an early Snack Stop at the Palo Alto PATAGONIA Store near University Ave!

Patagonia created this collaborative with SVBEx, to inspire more people to ride their bike and support SVBEx too.

This route will have multiple REGROUPS at well-spaced locations, most w/ restrooms and water when available.

Our THACO Stop is at the wonderful La Cazuela, in EPA, at mile 24.5, and we'll return via Palo Alto, not the Baylands.

This is a mellow, social paced ride, so no one will be dropped. Over 4 miles are on Car-Free Bike Paths.

I know the WW's all know this but please make sure your bike is in good shape, tires and brakes all trustworthy and of course, Helmets are REQUIRED.

It could be warm next week, so bring your Water Bottles , and dress in light/bright colors to stay cool and be visible to traffic!

NEW this year , we will have the usual WW Sign-In Sheet (Optional/for club mileage) and the SVBEx will also have a Sign-In Sheet. (require for their insurance)

The next TTT ride in July will have a group size limit, with pre-registration and a small use fee, so more info on that soon.
