A mountain bike ride suitable for strong beginners: hilly but not technical, slow pace, and many regroups. Experience riders will do fine on gravel bikes. Bring lunch and plenty of water. Meet at Almaden Quicksilver Park Hacienda entrance. From Almaden Expwy, proceed 3 miles along Almaden Rd through the town of New Almaden to the staging area on the right. We will stop at English Camp to pay honor to an old friend, Kitty Monahan. A trail (and a bridge on Alamitos Rd) is named in Kitty’s honor.
