Ride Description

See (and hear) egrets and herons nesting on Google’s campus. Visit Google’s visitor center. Do all of this on a short 11 mile A ride. Meet Howard Shafer (408-712-4573 or jhshafer@sbcglobal.net ) and Jacquette Ward at Cuesta Park (in front of the enclosed Cuesta Park barbeque area) at 10:45 am and begin this easy (but really, really great) ride to the shoreline baylands at 11:00 am. The ride takes the Stevens Creek Trail to get to the baylands and the Permanente Creek Trail to return. It is a terrific, flat ride except for a few overpasses and underpasses. There will be plenty of time for sightseeing. We will be back in time for the WW Spring Picnic, for which you must register separately on the WW website. Bad weather will cancel this ride.
