LDT FRIDAY RIDE: SUGARLOAF PARK LOOP

Come a bit early for the Cazadero LDT Weekend and enjoy an afternoon loop ride from Santa Rosa to Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. The ride includes a steep one mile climb up to the Park headquarters, but this can be easily skipped. This is an afternoon ride that will meet at 11:15 am for an 11:30 am departure. We should be back by about 3:00 pm when we’ll continue on to Occidental/Monte Rio, which is about a one hour drive from Howarth Park. This is a social paced C ride. No lunch break, but we’ll stop at a market for snacks/drinks or bring your own. Rain cancels. Online route sheets/maps/gps. MEETING TIME: 11:15 am for 11:30 departure

MEETING LOCATION: Howarth Park (630 Summerfield Rd., Santa Rosa, CA). From US 101 take CA 12 East to end of freeway, L on Farmers Lane, R on Sonoma Ave, L on Summerfield Rd, R into Howarth Park (Park in upper main lot by lake). Driving time from Palo Alto is about 2.0 hours. There is a restroom and water at the start.
