Ever passed a side road and wondered where it goes?  This ride provides the answer for many of the side roads along the often ridden Portola Valley route. Expect a social ride in the exploring spirit and follow your nav (or the ride leader) carefully.  Riding on autopilot will cause you to pass some of these 'hidden gems' (and a few diamonds in the rough...).  With 3000 feet of climbing, this isn't exactly a flat ride, but I think I've managed to avoid most 'killer steeps'.
