Tierra Bella -35 Miles of Glory (and Mild Regret) Start location: Coyote Creek parking lot on Silver Creek Valley Road, just west of Piercy Rd.

It’s time to tune up those legs and egos for Tierra Bella. I’ll be leading this 35 mile training ride from the front—setting a smooth, steady pace and pretending I’m not checking over my shoulder every five minutes.

Meanwhile, Rosemary will be heroically sweeping from the back, making sure no rider is left behind, dropped, forgotten, or mysteriously “taking a long break” in the bushes. Think of her as the friendly but firm caboose of this operation.

Expect: • 35 miles of some scenic and not so scenic fun • 2,900+ feet of climbing disguised as “character building” • A front leader who pretends he’s in charge • A back leader who actually is in charge.
