17 mi, 4 M, 2700 ft; Alpine Road East,Montebello Regional Park

Starting at the junction of Alpine Rd and Willowbrook Dr. at 10:00 AM, we'll head up Alpine Rd. past the end of the pavement to Dirt Alpine and White Oak Trail and then climb to the top of Black Mountain to take in the view. After a quick rest, we'll head downhill, retracing our steps. There is a pit toilet mid-route but plan to be self sufficient. Optional post-ride lunch at Amigos Grill in Portola Valley.
