Ride Description

Did you know there's an Equator Coffee shop in the peninsula? It's right along the bay trail near one of the Meta campuses, and it's a lovely spot to start a ride.

We can head down the bay shore trail towards Redwood City, then head up and over a popular climb up Jefferson to get back to Cañada. From there, it's up Kings Mountain, one of the iconic climbs of the peninsula.

We'll be coming right back down, so there's always the option to hang back or come back down via Huddart Park.

From there, it's a straight shot back up Cañada (on Bicycle Sunday, no less) where we will head back towards the coffee shop via the Sawyer Camp trail. We'll also take a fantastic descent through Hillsborough, one of the most slept-on areas of the Bay in my humble opinion.

If you want to take CalTrain down from the City, just get off at the Broadway stop in Burlingame, or ride over from the Milbrae BART station if that's easier.

Let's plan to leave by 9-9:15, so if you want some coffee beforehand, make sure to grab some beforehand!
