LDT SUNDAY RIDE: HEALDSBURG TO SWEETWATER SPRINGS

Enjoy a beautiful ride in the redwoods from Healdsburg to Sweetwater Springs. Both routes get a chance to savor beautiful remote Sweetwater Springs Road. CD route continues up the steep section of Sweetwater Springs (18% grade for .7 mile) and on to Guerneville, while the BC route does an “out-n-back” on the easier portion of Sweetwater. (Completely skipping the “out-n-back” results in a leisurely 21 mile ride.) Both routes return to Healdsburg via scenic Eastside Road and enjoy lunch in Healdsburg at the end of their rides. MEETING TIME: 9:15 am for 9:30 departure

MEETING LOCATION: Meet in Healdsburg at the free public parking area on Matheson Street, one block west of Plaza Park (follow signs to “All Day Parking”). There are public restrooms at the start.
