Tucson Getaway Day 3 Mt Lemmon, the longest climb in Arizona. Since we rested up yesterday, we will be ready for a big climb today. Starting at the desert floor we will climb to 8,000 feet in 30 miles with an average grade of 5%. Not up for the whole enchilada? No worries, we can turn around at Windy Point for 38 miles and 4184 feet. This ride is weather dependent so we may juggle the daily rides as needed. Plan for all weather conditions, it could be very cold as we go up. Be sure to pack snacks and water. Meet at Madera Valley Shopping Center 9095 E. Tanque Verde Rd, near the Safeway.
