Start at the First Congregational Church (west parking lot at Hamilton on Leigh) at 10:00 or meet up at Almaden Lake Park (by the restrooms on Winfield) at about 10:40. We will ride down past Almaden Reservoir to the base of Hicks and follow Herbert Creek up a lovely little road past what used to be the Twin Creeks "resort". We'll stop short of the dirt but the final pavement is easily classified as mixed terrain. Return via the historic Hacienda Cemetery on Bertram Road and Almaden Expwy to the park and then the church.
