The New Year has come, the rain has eased up (for now), the cold has set in, and it's time to kick off the RA Cycles Shop Rides again!

Come join us for a spectacular loop around the East Bay on some of our favorite roads!

We will meet at 8:30am and roll at 9am sharp. The group will head up the Lamorinda bike path to Moraga, and take a right turn on Pinehurst into Canyon. A quick regroup at the top of Pinehurst, and then onto Grizzley Peak for what should be some of the clearest views of the Bay. A quick water stop at the Tilden Steam Trains, then over to the recently re-opened Wildcat Canyon descent to Orinda and Bear Creek Road. This will be a good turn off point for anyone wanting a shorter route or on a time crunch. Then we head out Bear Creek to tackle Pumphouse Hill, and over to Pig Farm for another quick climb and regroup at the top. Then we descend to Alhambra Valley Road and make one final climb up Reliez Valley Road back to Lafayette / Pleasant Hill Road. A quick left on Stanley to Camino Diablo takes us back to the shop.

47 miles, and 4500ft of climbing. Should take the group 3-4 hours with stops at a reasonable January pace!
