100.2 mi • 4,029 ft. Valley flats (mi 0–25) → rolling oak hills with three dam/reservoir crossings (mi 25–75; chipseal, narrow shoulders, wind-exposed) → gentle westbound return (mi 75–100). Services ~mi 25/55/80 (towns/marinas). Plan self-support between.
Requirements
Helmet; bright front + rear lights (daytime visible); working brakes; safe tires; no aero bars in the group. Bring 2 tubes/plug kit, levers, pump/CO₂, multi-tool, quick link, ID/ICE, charged phone, sunscreen/wind vest.
Rules of the road
Obey all traffic laws and signals. Single file on narrow shoulders; two-abreast only when safe/legal. Call/point hazards (“car up/back,” “stopping,” “hole,” “gravel”). Hold a steady line; don’t overlap wheels; never cross the centerline. Slow on bridges/dam decks and descents; photo stops completely off the roadway. Earbuds discouraged (one ear max, low volume). E-bikes must be class-legal and pace-compatible. Respect every rider and road user; zero tolerance for harassment or violence.
