Join typically 800+ cyclists from many clubs on a fine tradition to start the year. Roll at 10:00 Warm up on the back roads of Walnut Creek and Alamo to get to the south side of the mountain. Regroups at Livorna park (6.5) and the Junction (18.8) . Climb from there to the summit or skip it to save about 9 miles
Start at parking under solar panels on left across from baseball fields. About a mile from PH BART. Bring head cover & extra dry clothes for the 30 minute descent down North Gate. Option post ride coffee, bakery, and food across the street from start. Will ride wet roads but not if rain falling or heavy fog.
