Ride coastside in cooler weather. Start/end at Skypark, in Scotts Valley. Easy access off Hwy 17 and Mt Herman Rd. Restrooms and water available.
We will ride to Felton and ascend Felton-Empire, descend Empire to cross Smith Grade and down Bonny Doon to Hwy 1. Optional 2-mile up-and-back to Davenport for a lunch break. Otherwise we can Rest stop at Wilder Ranch restrooms at mile 27 on the way to Santa Cruz. Then ascend Empire Grade back to Felton-Empire and on to Scotts Valley.
