Thanks to Shawnery for subbing for me last week, and now it's my turn to sub for Don. Unfortunately rain is forecast, but I am ever hopeful, as the chance of rain has fallen from 40 to 30%. This ride circles the drain (Shoup), so if it's dry to start I will be there to do as much as I can, but if it gets too wet, this ride may be cut short.
Assemble at the Shoup Park at 8:45 for a 9:00 departure, with D/E riders launching a bit before the Social Climbers. Make sure and park up top on the street or in the church parking off University, next to the expressway.
43 miles, with 4250' of climbing. It's a shorter ride, but with some interesting climbs. The tag on the file says this was Mike Khaw's swan song, with some minor changes, so it's a bit of throwback to the good old days of HRU.
This ride has no planned lunch stop, so bring food and drink to enjoy along the way.
