T-8  UPDATE FOR 9/18/25

Hello to all the Thaco Thursday riders and any new riders too!

For the September TTTTTT, we have a real smorgasbord of highlights this month!

We START is at The SV Bike Exchange :  located at 3961 East Bayshore Rd in the rear parking lot, off Corporation Way.    Arrive at 9:30 for 9:45 roll out.  There will be restroom at water access there.

The route is rated:  (B+C/.9.25.1)  with a gentle 553 ft of gain, all in the mid route section.

From Mile 10.4 it's literally all downhill!

This month's route has 5.5 total miles on dedicated bike paths and a New Bike/Ped bridge too!

First, we have an early Coffee Stop @ Ada's Cafe , in Palo Alto at mile 4.3. After a short south-bound section on the newly bike-laned El Camino, we'll take a pleasant meander into Los Altos for a small bit of local history at mile 8.3!  Next, we'll warm up our legs on an easy climb into Los Altos Hills and a fun descent back thru a corner of Stanford and into Palo Alto.  In the northern corner of Palo Alto, we plan to ride over the NEW  101 Ped Bridge  at University Ave!  It might not be fully finished, but it is open and rideable!   A brief tour thru East Palo Alto will take us to our favorite Taqueria atLa Cazuela at mile 21.   They have the best tacos, IMHO, and a nice outdoor garden patio to enjoy them. After our delicious repast, it's only 4 flat easy mostly bay lands miles back to SV Bike Exchange!

This route has Six Regroups, Two with Food and Five with Restrooms.  This is a social ride, and no one will be dropped!
