Did you know there were trails from Alpine to Saratoga Gap parallel to Skyline?  I'm checking some of those out.  Join me through Arastradero to Alpine paved to Alpine Dirt to Skyline.  Trails through OSP land to near Peters Creek Trailhead, halfway to Saratoga Gap.  Return via some different trails and Montebello OSP to descend Page Mill.  No lunch stop, but bring snacks.  Hope to be above and earlier than any heat...

Skyline trails section can be adjusted to meet our capabilities, ie, shorter, or return via road instead of trail, or add dirt Moody at the end.

Note the dirt portions of this ride are not suitable for skinny tires.  They are also not open to e-bikes.
