Ride Details

Starting at Rancho San Ramon Community Park, we will head North on Dougherty Rd followed up Crow Canyon and Blackhawk Rd to warm up for the climb up Mt. Diablo. After a stop at the summit of Mt. Diablo we will ride back to Rancho San Ramon park.

Be prepared to be self-sufficient. Carry water, tubes, pump or CO2 cartridges, snacks and water.

Re-group points: Pay Station, Ranger Station, Diablo Summit, bottom of Mt. Diablo Scenic Blvd (on return trip)

Restroom Availability: Rancho San Ramon, Diablo Ranger Station, Mt. Diablo Summit (and various campsite locations on S. Gate Road)

There will not be a designated sweep for the ride.  We will have regroups, and we will all look after one another.  If you leave the ride, please text the ride host when you end your ride, or if you need assistance.

E-Bikes are encouraged because they allow riders to participate in rides that otherwise couldn't. E-bikes must be pedal assist only.

All participants must register online on the VSBC website or via the Wild Apricot app.  You do not need to be a VSBC member, but we’d appreciate your support and you’ll appreciate the many benefits in being a member.
