13 mi, 5 LM, 2500 ft; Sierra Azul-Kennedy,Sierra Azul-Priest Rock,Sierra Azul-Limekiln Ridge

This is the annual Los Gatos Turkey Ride. Starting at Summit bikes, hundreds of people ride up Kennedy Road and then to the top of Kennedy Trail. This is a long, steep fireroad clim. There will be lots of people riding, walking or catching their breath. People typically bring food or drink to share with everyone else at the top. Brave people return down Priest Rock and Limekiln (very steep) or retrace your route up. This ride is a lot of fun and gets you home in time for everything else on Turkey Day. Due to crowds, allow time for parking and it may be difficult to assemble at the start. If you miss me, send me a text or email with your ride info. This is a "drop ride" but there lots of people riding with you and you won't get lost. Warning: MidPen usually turns away people on e-bikes at the trailhead that do not have a mobility disability.
