Ride Description

Let's do one last Taco ride for the year, and also witness the 2nd highest tides of the year!

We'll gather at Burgess Park in the usual south corner at 11am for an 11:15 roll out.

NOTE the Late am Time so we get to La Cazuela just before the noon hour and before the early pm high tides!

START from Burgess Park, then out thru Palo Alto and into EPA over to La Cazuela for their amazing Tacos!  (they might even have a Taco Tuesday $pecial!)

Afterwards, we head out into the Baylands to view the very high (+9.7) tides at Cooley Landing, and the Dumbarton Bridge.

We will try to go over to the east end to the Shoreline Levee trail if there is no flooding, or we decide it's worth the time.

The High Tide there at the Dumbarton Bridge is a +9.7 feet, at 1.21pm, the second highest tide of the year, other than Christmas Eve at +10.1 feet!

The route back will be a quick trip, over the META bridge and thru scenic Menlo Park and we will have multiple regroups and views of this unique high tide and the impact on the south bay.

There are restrooms and water available at the start and on the route.

The weather looks dry and pleasant at this time, but if that changes we will decide on Sunday.

I will have a few extra printed cue sheets at the start, if needed.
