Weβre back with our friends at Patagonia San Francisco for ride #3, and this time weβre taking it across the bridge for another classic. π
Weβll meet at the Ferry Building, roll along the waterfront, cross the Golden Gate Bridge and make our way up Hawk Hill before looping back into the city and finishing at Patagonia SF.
π 20.9 miles | ~1,650 ft climbing
β°οΈ Intermediate
π€ No-drop + social pace
This route has some real climbing, so come ready to work a little, but nobody gets left behind.
Why Patagonia? Beyond making gear for getting outside, Patagonia has spent decades putting environmental responsibility into action, from giving 1% of sales to environmental organizations to supporting grassroots activism, repairing gear to extend its life, and directing the company's excess profits toward protecting the planet.
That makes getting together on bikes feel especially fitting. Cycling gives us a way to move through and appreciate the places around us with a lighter footprint, while community rides remind us that taking care of our planet and taking care of each other can go hand in hand. π±π²
